The landfill provides a wide variety of valuable services for Ada County. Informing and educating the public about the landfill functions is one way to provide services to the residents of Ada County. The solid waste department encourages all residents of Ada County to contact us with any questions, concerns or comments. In addition to being open for communications with the public the Ada County Landfill provides tours for schools, church groups and scouting groups.*
*Please ensure that there are a minimum of 8 participants in the tours. Tour groups are responsible for transportation for the group.*
Tours need to be scheduled minimum one week in advance.
Tours take approximately two hours.
