P.O. may be issued; Design Professional may be needed. There is no requirement for the contractor to have a public works license. Must solicit three (3) quotes from local contractors for procurements over $5,000. After BOCC approval, the Chairman will sign a P.O. for the work. |

Informal Public Works Bid; Design Professional may be needed. A contractor must have a Public Works License required if over $50,000; Short Form Contract required. Performance and Payment Bond required. Must solicit three (3) written bids from owner-designated licensed contractors and award to the lowest responsive bidder. |

Disposal of Surplus Property
Ada County will periodically have items that are no longer of use to the County. These items will either be donated to another governmental agency or in some cases auctioned. For more information regarding a surplus property please contact Ada County Procurement at procurement@adacounty.id.gov.
