Idaho Archaeology and Historic Preservation Month
(Boise, ID) – May is Idaho Archaeology and Historic Preservation Month and Ada County is celebrating!
The Ada County Historic Preservation Council invites you to celebrate Idaho Archaeology and Historic Preservation Month by attending the Ada County Chronicles presentation. The history of Ada County from emigrants crossing on the Oregon Trail to present day will be covered.
The presentation, on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 6:00 PM in the Public Hearing Room of the Ada County Courthouse, is free to attend and open to the public.
Each year in May, the Ada County Historic Preservation Council strives to participate in Idaho Archaeology and Historic Preservation Month. This is a great reason to provide free opportunities to the general public in order to raise awareness of the important role that archaeology and historic preservation play in enriching our lives and making the Treasure Valley a great place to live, work and play.
The Ada County Historic Preservation Council has a simple purpose, the preserve Ada County’s Heritage. For more information on the council, please visit their website at http://adawebcp.net/Historic-Preservation.
