The Ada County Prosecutor’s Magistrate Division works with local law enforcement agencies, including the Ada County Sheriff’s Office, the Idaho State Police, and the Idaho Fish and Game Office to prosecute misdemeanor crimes and infractions occurring within Ada County. In addition to representing the County on traffic citations, driving offenses, Fish and Game violations, and a host of other violent and non-violent misdemeanor crimes, the Magistrate Division employs a full-time, specially trained, domestic violence prosecutor to litigate and monitor cases assigned to the Ada County Domestic Violence Court.
