The Ada County Prosecutor’s Office Juvenile Division is staffed with a supervisor, four deputy prosecutors and a Victim-Witness Coordinator who assists crime victims through the juvenile justice system.
Deputy prosecutors assigned to the Juvenile Division handle all types of cases involving juvenile offenders, including felony, a misdemeanor, and status offenses, such as Runaway, Beyond Control of Parent, and Curfew. Juvenile Division deputy prosecutors also handle all involuntary adult mental commitment cases, child mental commitment cases, and developmentally disabled commitment cases in Ada County. The Juvenile Division is housed at the Ada County Juvenile Court building located at 6300 Denton St., Boise.
