When is My Trash Day?
Republic Services is the contracted company that handles the day to day trash pickup for Ada County. To find out when your trash will be picked up follow the link and enter your address to learn when your trash will be picked up. How Much Does it cost?
The cost to dispose at the Ada County Landfill is determined by the type of customer. For Non-Commercial customers their cost is determined by the weight of their load, then by the type of waste that is being brought. Commercial customers their load is determined by the type of waste and by the measured volume.
Each load is subject to an $11 minimum charge.

When is the Landfill Open?
The Landfill is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The Household Hazardous Waste Facility is open on Friday and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Why is the Landfill Closed on Sundays?
Since most of the major landfill users, i.e. the large waste haulers, don’t pick up on Sundays, it would not be cost-effective, based on the modest amount of fees charged to individuals, for the landfill to stay open on Sunday. The landfill is an enterprise fund. It receives no tax dollars. Therefore, it must be fiscally managed in a manner that assures that it can financially support the overall operation.

What Can I take to the Landfill?
At the landfill we can take just about everything. Depending on what it is will depend on how it is handled. The only items we will not accept is items that are generated from areas outside of Ada County.
Can I Take Something Out of the Landfill?
Due to a number of reasons scavenging is not allowed at the Ada County Landfill.
Does the Landfill Recycle?
Yes, we recycle many items at the Landfill, although recycling at the Landfill is different from recycling at your curbside. At the landfill we recycle:

- Hazardous Materials
