Polls are open on Election Day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Logic and Accuracy Test
The Logic & Accuracy test is conducted prior to every Election to ensure the ballot tabulation machines are functioning properly. The public and media are welcome to attend the Logic & Accuracy Test.
Logic & Accuracy Test for the November 6, 2018 Election will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at the Election’s Office – 400 N. Benjamin Lane, Suite 100 Boise, Idaho 83704.
2018 Filing Information
Deadlines for the November 6, 2018, General Election
August 8: Last day for Magistrates up for retention and for Highway District Commissioners to file declarations of candidacy with the County Clerk for the General Election (November 6). (Sec 1-2220, Sec 34-625 and Sec 34-625A, Idaho Code)
September 4: Last day for filing declarations of candidacy until 5:00 pm for candidates for the November 6 election with the clerk of the political subdivision. This filing is for political subdivision candidates. (Sec 34-1404, Idaho Code)
September 7: Last day a partisan candidate may withdraw before the General Election (November 6). (Sec 34-717, Idaho Code)
September 7: Last day for a political subdivision to supply wording and resolution to the County Clerk for a bond, levy, initiative, referendum, recall or any other ballot question ordered for the November 6 Election. (Sec 34-106, Idaho Code)
*Declaration forms may be received via mail, fax, email or in-person.
They must be received by the County Clerk by the mandated cut-off.
