Board of Community Guardians
The Board of Community Guardians provides assistance to adult citizens who are no longer able to care for themselves. Wards under our guardianship cannot make or communicate responsible decisions, manage their finances, or provide for basic needs such as food, clothing, health care, and safety. Our role is to ensure these vulnerable adults are protected from exploitation, abuse, and neglect. We find them homes, arrange for health care, manage finances and provide social support through volunteer companions.
